Synergy for Justice Stichting has been granted ANBI Status by the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration.

The Dutch abbreviation ANBI means Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling, or Public Benefit Organization. Objectives of the institution

Synergy for Justice Stichting aims to provide victims and survivors of violence increased and sustained access to justice through the creation of survivor-centric and effective justice processes.

Remuneration policy

Strategic Board Members will be paid no remuneration for the activities connected with their duties. They are however entitled to the reimbursement of any not excessive costs incurred by them in the course of their duties, such as a reasonable attendance-fee to join meetings of the Strategic Board or joint meetings of the Management Board and Strategic Board. The Strategic Board may grant Management Board Members a remuneration for the performance of the activities connected with their duties. Besides, they are also entitled to the reimbursement of any not excessive costs incurred by them in the course of their duties.

Financial accountability

The preparation of financial statements has been outsourced to Boonzaaijer & Merkus Accountants & Adviseurs, The Netherlands. The financial statements and explanatory notes are approved each year by the Board of Directors.
